AG has gone over the top

Kate here. I discovered this morning that AG has made a whole new "line" of doll stuff. What used to be "JLYs" are now "MAG"-- My American Girl.
Included in this new line are tons of new earrings, glasses, furniture (a sink at least), dental sets (see picture), and "themed" outfits- hobbies, everyday, sleep & style, special days, etc. And also everything says "Innerstar U!!" Since we spend enough time on the computer already, we won't be participating in AG's newest Computer-game craze. Also, prices have gone up!! Most of the outfits are $30, as opposed to $24 or $28. Not a trend I'm crazy about. Of course, it could be due to this "charm" thing-one comes with each outfit. I'm also not a big fan of the new JLY- excuse me, MAG- "Uniform." It looks like pajamas. The only new thing that I like is Lanie's Owly Nature outfit. I want it so I can show my Owl City fan-ness. :)
Sorry for being incredibly depressing and being totally against all change and progress in American Girl stuff!! :)
Love,
Kate

What is wrong with this blog?

The answer is, nobody ever posts here. That could be because Sonja only just got back from Florida-she didn't take ANY of us- and kept us shut up in her room. But still....I have a problem with that!! Let's see, we were really bored for the 5 days she was gone. All we did was sat. We needed the Cat in the Hat, but he didn't come. Finally, we can have some action around here again, because they're going to post the theme of our summer camp here at Lightcourt on Saturday afternoon!! :) I can't wait, as long as it's not dinosaurs or astronauts. =P
Oh, now I remember something. Yesterday Sonja took Mia dressed up as a Pioneer girl to model some crocheted shawls and headbands she was selling at a craft fair at our library. She also sold some crocheted 'amigurumi' animals, I should put up some pictures of those! They are really adorable. We have some of our own that she has kept, so...yeah. OK I'd better hush up and stop because I'm kind of blabbering. B4N!!
Love, KATE
