Haven't posted in a long time!!

Hey everyone, Adair here again. It's been over a month since my birthday and the last post!! AAHH!! Well, Sonja finally had the time to take some pics of me yesterday which she edited on Pixlr. See the whole album on our web albums.

School is busy and I'm also going to audition for a Laura Ingalls Christmas play next week!! (Of course, for Laura :D) I hope I get the part! You may not see me for a while since I am so hard at work, but I'll try to get some of the other girls to post!

Got to go, Saturdays are "Clean the dorms day". :P

Happy Birthday, Adair!!

Adair celebrates her 12th birthday today! At school she wore her birthday crown and she's having a sleepover tonight with all the girls. :)
Her presents were a necklace, a random little box, an iPod, and a little doll I made...it was originally going to be a baby, but I couldn't figure out how to make any other clothes besides the dress she's wearing because it was my own pattern. She's cute anyways, I'm really happy with how it turned out!! Just a short post--maybe some pictures from the sleepover later!

SCHOOL!

Adair here again, sorry I didn't post any sooner about school. These pictures are from the first day, last Wednesday. It went well, but the new teacher wasn't what any of us were expecting. (Is that proper grammar?)
Ms. Natalie Lewiss is short, blonde, nearsighted, smart, and RANDOM!!! She's a good teacher, but REALLY funky! Kate and Taylor have her for their advanced subjects, but I'm kind of glad I don't...
It has been hard work so far but fun, especially when we can go outside on "Nature walks" with Ms. Lewiss--although so far there's been more laughing than looking around. :-)

PS-I forgot, I just wanted to say how GORGEOUS all of the new Melody Valerie Couture fall dresses are. o_o I can't decide which one is my favorite, Brown Paper Packages or Let's Take the Train. What's your favorite?

School starts on the 8th!!

Hello everyone and I am SO SORRY for not posting in so long. :S I went up to Sonja's relatives cabin and had a great time there. (See picture.) It's amazing but school's starting NEXT WEDNESDAY!!! aaaah!! I'm excited but sort of...not excited. At the same time. Anyway, our schedule is this:

8:30-8:45: Arrive at school sometime in there

9:00-9:55: Math

10:00-11:00: History & Current Events

11:05-12:00: Writing & Literature

12:00-12:30: Lunch

12:30-1:00: Recess/Gym

1:10-2:00: Science

2:00-2:30: Music (For me, it's violin along with Taylor, everyone else does piano.)

2:45-3:30: Advanced subject: Elocution, some Dance, Shakespeare--stage/film training, basically. **

3:45: back to dorms.

(**Everyone here has an advanced subject; mine's obviously acting, Kate's is writing, Finny's is Art, Taylor's is Math, and Mia's is Ice skating. Just so you know. :P)

I found something out about the school I didn't know the other day. "It's almost time to start school, and we don't have our uniforms yet," I said to Finny. She looked sort of surprised. "Well, of course! We don't have uniforms here." I've never been to a school without uniforms before!! I can't believe Lightcourt doesn't have them. Maybe Sonja needs to get sewing for us..hehehe.

It'll be my birthday in about 2 weeks!! Maybe I'll have a party...**writes note to self to get party things**

Anyway, I think this post has gone on long enough....

PPS- yes we've heard the sad news about Felicity & Lizzie....but what's the use of talking about it? We can't change AG's mind and it just gets you depressed to talk about it. :/

Finny & Adair window photoshoot

Finny here; just a note to tell you Adi & me have a new album up you can view here. We are so similar!! We are BFF's! :) Well, we're getting back into the school-time atmosphere here. Apparently we're getting a new teacher for Math, History, English, and probably some other stuff I can't remember. :-o! We're all pretty anxious to see what she's like!! And meanwhile, it's getting school supplies and backpacks, etc. I don't know whether to dread the first day of school or be happy about it yet. Got to go- Love, Finny & Adair, too :)

Hello everyone, it's Lightcourt's new girl, Adair!! I'm going to write some cool/funny/random things about me so you can sort of get to know my personality:

~I am going to act on the stage when I'm grown up. I know lots of people would rather be in movies...but that's not really my thing. Besides, my mom and dad were both on Broadway.

~ My favorite color is PURPLE!! Which is obvious from the picture right over there :-)

~ I am obsessed with Owl City!!! Don't say anything about Taylor Swift around me!

~ I am Russian, Irish, and Scottish, hence my name- "Adair" means "From the oak tree ford." "Quinn" means "counsel."

~I love to watch "The Waltons," which may seem kind of weird. Yeah, it is weird, but I like it :)

~People probably would call me a drama queen, but it's not like I throw hissy-fits all the time. I make a big deal about everything, that's all!!

~I love fashion and clothes!! Speaking of which it's a pretty lousy selection here. :P **Forces Sonja to buy her more clothes**

~I like baseball sort of...... yeah I like the MN Twins :) But I hate football!!! Grrrossss!!

~My birthday is September 15, 1998--coming up soon!!

~I have played classical violin since 1st grade.

~I will be in 7th grade this year!

~My favorite seasons are fall and spring, fall because of my birthday, and spring because the snow melts and everything comes alive again :)

~My favorite book is either "Anne of Green Gables" or "Emily of New Moon." But I also love "Ballet Shoes" and "Dancing Shoes" by Noel Streatfield.

Hey guys, Kate here. CLICK to see the final parts of the story!!! It was really fun, and now we have a new student/friend. But you'll just have to read the story for yourself, I won't tell the entire thing!!

Right now: it's like, a kabillion degrees outside. Sonja & her sisters went to the pool this afternoon (LUCKIES) and so we got an idea: to go swimming ourselves!!! The only thing was, where to go? In the end we decided on the sink, because we can't get our bodies wet, ya know, and the bathtub's too big for us to operate....:P I suppose my costume was pretty crazy....(underwear & **human** headband as a top) but Finny had to wear her SHIFT!! HER HISTORICAL SHIFT!! I suppose she's in that sort of a mood right now since she was just all dressed up in her Felicity outfit. **sigh** I'll never understand these historicals. Well, bye for now!
